Two years ago while fishing for salmon near Seattle my brother-in-law introduced me to Buzz-Bombs. After returning to home I ordered some Buzz bombs from your company. At your suggestion we also ordered some Spinnows in the one ounce size. They proved deadly on suspended stripers. I called your company and ordered more Spinnows for last fall. By mistake you sent me one dozen of the 2.5 ounce Spinnows in Pearl Blue. Believing they were too big I set them in my garage ‘till approx. September of this year. I gave my friend two of them when I only had a few of the one ounce left. He came back raving how many stripers he had caught and how many of them were hooking up on the fall. I started using them with my charter business and the results were extraordinary.

We use a method called smoking where when we see stripers breaking on the surface we drop down through the school then reel back ass fast as we can, the higher speed reels say 6 to 1 ratio out fish most all other reels. During early September my charters were catching between 30 to 40 stripers a trip. Everyone wanted to know what we were using and where we got them. Finally I gave the information to several guides and my favorite tackle shop Extreme Minimart, where most guides meet their customers. I know your sales records will tell you what a success they have been this fall.

Our water temp is now down to sixty degrees and the bite has slowed down. But we’re still experimenting with them. Two weeks ago I hired nine other guides go work with me on a large charter. We each took out two anglers each for four hours. Six of the ten guides used Spinnows with their customers. We caught over three hundred stripers that afternoon. One of my fellow guides said it best, what if we had been fishing Spinnows for the past ten years?!
